Bio
Marie Valmonte holds a Real Estate Agent license in Virginia State and Washington DC. She specializes in commercial real estate retail and office sales and leasing. Marie also specializes in residential, and international property sales, leasing and investing.
Marie has been selected to participate in the 2024 NVAR Leadership Institute. This program offers accepted members an opportunity to participate in a year-long program, which provides participants with the skills and knowledge to become effective leaders for the association. For 2024, a cohort of 13 participants were chosen among less than one hundred applicants.
Marie served as the Director of Program and Training Development for the Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce and served as a Board member of the Margaret McNamara Education Grant, a non-profit organization that supports exceptional women in achieving higher education.
Marie has extensive work experience in the corporate world, specifically in finance, economics, project, and knowledge management as well as information systems management. Marie holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce, a major in Economics from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines, and a master’s degree in Management Information Systems from George Washington University. Marie also holds a Chief Information Officer certificate from the CIO University (Federal Executive Competencies).
